Vaughan Memorials are able to provide a full service for renovation of existing memorials and to add further inscriptions to match any style of lettering on any stone.

ADDITIONAL INSCRIPTIONS

We are able to offer additional inscriptions on granite, marble and natural stone memorials.

Before we give you the estimate for the work our mason will visit the cemetery and check the available space on the memorial.  We will also advise you if we feel that any other work is desirable and if the existing lettering needs attention.  If there is insufficient room on the headstone for additional lettering we will contact you with the options available to either re-face the memorial or add a further tablet where suitable.

RESTORATION & RENOVATION

As well as crafting new memorials we are able to offer a complete renovation and restoration service.  Our masons will visit the cemetery to inspect the memorial and we will provide you with a full estimate showing all work we feel necessary. This estimate is given at no obligation or cost to yourself. Once you have decided what work you would like to be done we will send you a confirmation showing all work to be carried out, and any inscription that is to be added to the memorial. 

CLEANING OF MARBLE MEMORIALS

Marble is a porous material and as such requires renovation and professional cleaning after several years. The cleaning of marble memorials is very effective but there are some stains that are not able to be removed.  Stains from rusting metal do not usually come out of Marble. The lettering fill on Marble memorials may need renovation especially if it is enamel or Gilt.  We will include this on the estimate if necessary.
